My passion for photography started in 2007 with a Canon Powershot A570IS and that year I got the first photo that I was proud of (shown here). Growing up in BC's West Coast, I was lucky to get an appreciation for wildlife and the outdoors and a good portion of my photography reflects that. As a kid, I spent countless hours wandering around the woods behind our house, just to see what I could find. I am now based out of BC's Kootenay region and there is no shortage of activities to be found: biking, hiking, camping and skiing keep me busy year round.

Between 2013 and 2015, I was lucky enough to live in England and Italy and fully realized the joy of travelling with a camera in hand. If possible I like to plan one big trip year.
